Message from the Chief
On behalf of the Easton Police Department, I would like to welcome you to our website and introduce you to our organization. As a police department, we continue to look for ways to better serve our community and improve police practices. This quest has resulted in the Easton Police Department being accredited by the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission, an entity that has established best practices in policing.
It is our goal to preserve freedom by protecting life and property, ensuring that the constitutional rights of all individuals are upheld, maintaining order, and encouraging respect for the laws of our Commonwealth and Nation. We strive to earn the respect of all individuals by maintaining a well-trained, professional, and accountable police department that performs its duties with diligence, integrity, and impartiality.
We aim to reduce and prevent crime through implementation of effective crime prevention strategies. By creating partnerships with our community organizations, leaders, and citizens, our goal is to resolve community problems using a community policing philosophy.
All members of the Easton Police Department are committed to personal and organizational integrity, and are committed to providing quality service in partnership with our community.
Sincerely,
Keith Boone
Chief of Police
