Officers Christopher Aker and Michelle Franey helped start Halloween early for several elementary students at Parkview during their annual “Trunk or Treat” event. While they enjoyed some candy with the kids, they also gave a presentation about the importance of safety in order to have a fun and safe Halloween.
Following an incident this week where a man approached a child and asked him if he wanted a ride in his car, Chief Gary Sullivan and the Easton Police Department are reminding parents to talk to their children about dealing with strangers.
Chief Gary Sullivan reports that the Easton Police Department is seeking to identify a man who approached a young boy and asked him if he wanted a ride in his car Monday night.
